Aurore Léger in Classica, avril 2018, p. 112 (rating: five stars — English translation)

Among the many merits of this production the first is doubtless to have given a position of honor to neglected composers or those unknown beyond the narrow milieu of organ fans. Yet their works equal and at times surpass the most famous pages by numerous great names within the répertoire. The overwhelming Prayer on a verse from the [gregorian] Pater noter by the Alsatian Marie Josef Erb (1856-1944), pervaded by the influence of Fauré and Debussy, constitues in this respect a veritable apex and in and of itself justifies the interest of the recording. […] Orgue, harmonium and violin support one another and enjoy full complementarity well into the tutti. To be listened to without moderation.

The nice surprise in this Organomania comes from the Duo Dulciâme. […] [To be] retained: the extraordinary Suite im alten Stil by Adolf Busch (a world premiere recording), two excerpts from Rheinberger’s Opus 150, and the moving Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread by Marie-Joseph Erb, a final jewel in this perfectly drawn up program.
