A pupil of Jean Lénert at the Conservatory of Aulnay-sous-Bois, Pascale Karampournis subsequently obtained three premier prix diplomas at the regional conservatory of Aubervilliers, as well as an honors prize (prix d’excellence) in chamber music in the département competition of the Hauts-de-Seine. As a holder of the State Diploma in violon, she is presently Director of the Music School in Fontenay-le-Fleury near Versailles where she also teaches violin. As a regular member of the Pasdeloup Orchestra since 1986, she has benefited from many years of contact with numerus prestigious conductors, practicing a rich and varied repertoire ranging from the Baroque era, via Broadway and other musicals, to various contemporary languages.
