Among all the musical instruments it would be hard to find two seemingly more divergent than the violin and the organ. Their size, tone production, range, dynamics, their inherent expressive style, their respective degree of presence in the symphony orchestra: everything seems to separate them.
Yet, for 30 years the Duo Dulciâme has been revealing the prestige and the masterworks that this combination has brought forth, as composers strive for ingenious ways to highlight hidden affinities and complementarities that bring together the two venerable instruments!
